People Technology Data & Integrations Manager (Workday)
We are looking for a skilled and experienced People Technology Data & Integrations Manager to join our HelloFresh People Team at our Berlin or New York Headquarters. In this role, you will lead a small team of People Technology Technical Specialists focused on building, managing, and maintaining integrations to and from Workday and various other people technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data flow across our HR and corporate technology ecosystem, enabling the People function to operate efficiently and effectively across multiple platforms. As a People Technology Data & Integrations Manager, you will leverage your expertise in Workday integrations, data exchange protocols, and system architecture to ensure that our integrations are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Your leadership skills will be key in managing a team of integration specialists, coaching them in best practices and fostering an environment of continuous improvement. You will oversee the strategy and execution of complex integration projects, ensuring they meet technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a small team of People Technology Integration specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to ensure high-performance standards and continuous development. Act as the subject matter expert for Workday integrations, including EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders), Web Services (REST/SOAP), and third-party system integrations. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and other HR technologies and platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient data exchange. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) to understand integration needs, translating them into technical solutions that meet business requirements. Drive the implementation of best practices for integration development and deployment, ensuring integration solutions are both effective and aligned with long-term IT strategy. Lead and manage complex integration projects, such as system upgrades, new platform integrations, or large-scale data migrations. Ensure the seamless flow of data between Workday and external systems such as payroll, time tracking, benefits, and other HR technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve critical integration issues in a timely and effective manner, maintaining business continuity and data integrity. Ensure that all integrations meet security standards, compliance requirements, and data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.). Take responsibility for the monitoring and optimization of integration processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline operations. Manage the data quality of integrations, performing regular audits and troubleshooting data discrepancies across systems. Requirements: At least 1-3 years of management experience in leading a technical team, with a focus on integrations and data systems within an HRIS or People Technology context. 5+ years of hands-on experience in building, managing, and maintaining integrations, particularly with Workday and other HR technologies. Expertise in Workday integration technologies such as EIBs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), Workday Studio, and third-party system integration methods. Strong understanding of data integration protocols (e.g., XML, JSON, SFTP, FTP, etc.) and integration platforms. Proven experience managing integration projects, from planning to execution, ensuring technical requirements are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget. In-depth knowledge of HR processes and their impact on data integration, including payroll, time tracking, absence management, and benefits. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and third-party vendors, to define and deliver integration solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for managing large datasets and conducting data analysis related to integrations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across various functions. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
