What You Will Do

Columbus Forge, a leader in disks and airfoils for aerospace propulsion, seeks dedicated individuals to join a dynamic environment and apply new ideas in practice. This position is for a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Tech based in Columbus, GA. This is a 1st shift opportunity Primary Responsibilities: Provide engineering support for production operations including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities Knowledge of machining techniques and processes for manufacture Interpret requirements to develop and maintain processes to manufacture parts and tooling to engineering drawing requirements Assist in electronic work instruction creation for manufacturing use Interpret manufacturing inspection data to ensure product meets engineering requirements Demonstrate commitment to EH&S and continuous improvement by complying with policies and completing required training

Qualifications You Must Have

2-year Degree in a technical field 3+ years technical experience 6+ months manufacturing experience High School Diploma or equivalent U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with attention to detail in resolving findings Ability to understand and interpret engineering technical data to guide cross-functional teams Experience using Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
