Overview We are seeking a seasoned Principal Enterprise Architect to provide leadership and vision for enterprise-wide architecture. This role will be responsible for defining technology strategies, shaping transformation roadmaps, and guiding the implementation of modern solutions across multiple domains. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with senior business leaders, IT stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure, and future-ready architectures. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong consultative skills, and proven leadership in mentoring other architects while driving innovation and standardization across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate the overall enterprise architecture strategy, aligning technology roadmaps with business objectives. Act as a visionary, helping leaders evaluate the operational and business impact of their technology investments. Architecture Direction: Provide authoritative guidance on architecture decisions, priorities, and standards across application, infrastructure, data, and security domains. Solution Design: Translate business requirements into high-level solution designs and blueprints for complex programs. Review software and hardware options, assessing risk, cost, and benefits for the enterprise. Execution Support: Serve as the architecture thought leader and partner for product and engineering leadership, recommending innovative solutions that enhance both new and existing system architectures. Governance & Standards: Lead architecture review boards and solution reviews, ensuring consistency, compliance, and best practices are applied across the organization. Innovation & Research: Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose, design, and deliver solutions that anticipate future needs and drive the enterprise’s long-term architecture vision. Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional leaders, vendors, and industry experts to evaluate options, identify reuse opportunities, and drive consensus on technology decisions. Mentorship: Direct and mentor architects across the organization, fostering talent growth and building a high-performing architecture community. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. 10+ years of enterprise-wide architecture experience, including cloud and on-premise technologies. Deep technical knowledge in multiple domains, including APIs, automation, cloud services, compute, storage, networking, security, service operations, and unified communications. Hands-on expertise with platforms and tools such as Azure, AWS, Docker, Cisco, Kubernetes, VMware, ServiceNow, Mulesoft, Palo Alto, Microsoft solutions, and Equinix. Strong background in API-first design, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and runtime environments. Experience leading large-scale cloud migrations and hybrid environments. Knowledge of TOGAF, ITIL, and other architectural frameworks and process methodologies. Proficiency in portfolio and productivity tools including LeanIX, Power BI, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to manage multimillion-dollar initiatives and balance complex resource and cost planning. Proven leadership capabilities in setting priorities, managing cross-functional relationships, motivating teams, and driving continuous improvement. Leadership Competencies
