Overview
The Opportunity CACI is looking for an Application Engineer responsible for the maintenance and development of software that ensures the connectivity and functionality of cryptologic assets, adhering to established security and IT standards under Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Network (STE/STN), while also requiring monitoring, drift analysis, and the use of analytics to enhance performance and security. Responsibilities
Integrate and test existing applications, with focus on PHP and Python codebases. Update and maintain web applications written in PHP, including those using the Laravel framework. Independently integrate and update Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) applications. Create and optimize DevOps processes by implementing CI/CD (continuous integration & continuous deployment) pipelines to automate integration, testing, and deployment of PHP and Python applications. Qualifications
Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph All experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed, and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions. High school Diploma/GED with a minimum of 12 years of experience Associate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience Doctorate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience Proficiency in PHP (v8.2) development and execution. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Familiarity with MariaDB (SQL). Experience in Python for server scripting, integration, and testing. Proficiency in JavaScript. Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, or similar). Desired: Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration issues. Familiarity with the Laravel framework. Knowledge of log and observability platforms (Cribl, Splunk). What You Can Expect

Pay Range : The proposed salary range for this position is $103,800 - $218,100. Final salary is influenced by location, contract terms, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
