Overview
We are Lockheed Martin. This position is for an F-35 Mission Systems Flight Test Discipline Engineer providing support for flight test planning and execution and will be part of a fast paced, dynamic environment. The MS Flight Test Discipline Engineer will be tasked across the full flight test life cycle for systems such as RADAR, Electronic Warfare, Countermeasures, Electro Optical Targeting Systems, Distributed Aperture Systems, Communication, Navigation and Datalinks. Responsibilities include developing test plans as new capabilities for those systems are developed, participating in real time control room activities during test execution, and distribution/analysis/reporting of data acquired during test missions/events. The position will require aircraft system troubleshooting and failure resolution to ensure test aircraft are mission capable.
Responsibilities
Develop test plans for new capabilities across mission systems (RADAR, EW, Countermeasures, EO/IR, Distributed Aperture Systems, Communications, Navigation, and Datalinks).
Participate in real-time control room activities during test execution.
Distribute, analyze, and report data acquired during test missions/events.
Troubleshoot aircraft systems and resolve failures to maintain mission capability during tests.
Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
Experience with aircraft mission system design, integration or flight test.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills
Experience with F-35 mission systems architecture and system operation.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
MATLAB, VBA, or Python proficiency.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CI date within 5 years.
