Anatomic Pathologist Faculty Position – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, are seeking an Anatomic Pathologist with expertise in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology to join our faculty in New Brunswick, NJ. This faculty role provides an exciting opportunity to practice at a leading academic medical center, teach the next generation of physicians, and contribute to cutting-edge research within New Jersey’s largest integrated health care delivery system. The minimum salary for this position if hired to work is $280,000 per year. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience. Posting Summary The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in conjunction with Rutgers Health, invites applications for a faculty position in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology within the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for performing surgical pathology and cytopathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) — the school’s 650-bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The successful candidate will be a member of the Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology teams, consulting with clinical staff, and actively participating in the educational programs of the Department, which include teaching medical students, residents, and clinical fellows. The candidate will also be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition, participation in the autopsy service will be required. Subspecialty expertise in an area such as pediatric pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, breast pathology, thoracic pathology, gynecologic pathology, etc., is desirable. Position Highlights

MD, DO, or MBBS degree required Active medical license in the State of New Jersey Board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP or AP and Cytopathology required Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology and/or Cytopathology required Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and academic experience Benefits
