Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP
- Child and Adolescent - Contract - Hybrid Blackbird Health is expanding access to pediatric mental health care. We provide virtual and in-person services, including comprehensive evaluations, medication management and therapy. We are growing and seeking a PMHNP licensed in New Jersey to support patients aged 2–26. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 10 hours per week, including at least 5 hours onsite. Position Summary

In this role you will support Blackbird patients ages 2–26 by performing neuroscience-based assessments, conducting medication evaluations and follow-up appointments. Experienced provider using evidence-based practices Passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families Skilled in facilitating virtual telehealth direct care Comfortable with technology, including Google Suite, EHR systems and other virtual platforms Driven by patient outcomes with strong communication skills Collaborative, proactive, and resourceful in a team-based environment Ability to take initiative and use sound judgment How you’ll make an impact
Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults Develop and implement treatment plans; provide patient education and consultations Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests and results Coordinate with administrative team for refills, prior authorizations, records, and scheduling Communicate with other healthcare professionals and families as appropriate Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain thorough documentation The basics you’ll need
Active PMHNP license in New Jersey Minimum 2 years' independent experience as a PMHNP Minimum 1 year experience with children, adolescents or young adults Board Certification by ANCC or AANP DEA license CDS license State Prescriptive Authority License Computer, phone and high-speed internet Experience with Google Suite and EHR systems Commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week Why Blackbird is unique
