Overview Rockland Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting a Licensed Psychologist to provide outpatient professional psychological services to individuals with mental illness.
Responsibilities
Providing clinical leadership and program management
Conducting forensic or court-ordered assessments
Providing treatment and expert testimony
Providing individual, group, or family therapy and crisis intervention
Maintaining records and documentation
Minimum Qualifications Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (NY HELPS) program if they are licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology in New York State.
OR
Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
OR
Candidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they are reachable on the current Licensed Psychologist eligible list.

Compensation Base pay range : $145,413.00/yr
Note:
This salary includes Geographic Pay Differential ($20,000), Increased Hiring Rate ($25,077), and Downstate Adjustment ($4,000).

Notes: If you fail to maintain your license and/or registration once you are appointed, action may be taken to remove you from the position.
In order to be eligible for appointment and to maintain employment, you cannot be listed as an excluded individual or entity on any Medicaid/Medicare exclusion lists. If appointed and later listed, you may be terminated.
If appointed, you may be required to become an enrolled Medicare provider; obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI); and participate to allow for billing through Medicare and Medicaid. If you lose the ability to bill, you may be terminated.
