Staff or Sr. Staff Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist
in our
Anchorage, Alaska office . This position is part of our environmental site investigation and due diligence practice, focusing on environmental compliance for Alaska clients and supporting site investigation projects in the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho). Our firm is an innovative, international engineering and consulting company serving private and public clients on complex environmental, natural resources, and civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include: Supporting due diligence projects with historical research, ASTM Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; Assisting with environmental compliance services, audits, and reviews; Supporting site characterization and remediation efforts; Conducting fieldwork such as sampling, drilling, geophysical investigations, and overseeing remediation systems; Developing compliance documents and permit applications under relevant environmental laws; Enhancing project management skills; Analyzing data and preparing maps, tables, and figures; Preparing technical reports, letters, and proposals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, chemistry, biology, or related field (required); Advanced degree preferred; At least 1 year of related experience (preferred); Fieldwork and overnight travel required; Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record (required); Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and background checks (required); OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training will be provided.
