Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will work closely with the Information Technology and Enterprise Data Services teams, collaborating across departments to support system implementations, process improvements, and data-driven initiatives. The role involves gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and supporting both technical teams and business users to ensure successful project outcomes. Duties and Responsibilities Document business, functional, technical requirements, and end-user guidelines in JIRA and Confluence. Elicit requirements and gauge priorities through inclusive discussions with all stakeholders and team members. Organize, facilitate and help manage the implementation of technical projects and system enhancements through Agile or waterfall project methodologies. Lead and facilitate daily scrum standups and other meetings with developers, business users, and other business analysts. Foster productive working relationships and facilitate discussions within the team, across departments and with vendors. Diagram, illustrate, and communicate complex business processes and systems as needed. Analyze and test applications and data sets with SQL and other tools like Excel and Power BI. Discuss and resolve issues by supporting users and developers. Requirements Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience as a business analyst. Experience assessing existing systems and processes to map technical capabilities to product owner requirements and expectations. Experience with user acceptance testing, including forming valid test cases, executing tests, documenting, and supporting others throughout the testing cycle. Experience facilitating large meetings, daily standups, or Agile scrum calls. Previous experience in the financial services or asset management industry. Basic knowledge of IT environments including networking, server technologies, databases, and security. Previous experience working in the technical project lifecycle, especially using Agile methodologies. Basic SQL querying, data analysis, and data visualization skills. Experience in JIRA and Confluence is strongly preferred. Seniority level
