About The Position

As the Small Business Administration (SBA) Compliance Auditor I, you will complete a thorough review of internal, external, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with loan program requirements. You will work with the intake and compliance specialists to identify and resolve exceptions. You will also work on loans of a less complex nature, and will work in tandem with the intake and compliance specialists to identify and resolve any known exceptions. What You Will Do

Review newly originated credit facilities for compliance with the SBA SOP 50 10, and any internal or external statutes and guidelines. Maintain adherence to set KPIs and goals revolving around the 60-day review requirement as well as other file intake standards. Review/amend the SBA core system of record to ensure the proper input of the loan’s approved structure is reflected. Review equity injection and loan disbursement documentation to ensure compliance with loan program requirements. Interact with various internal partners across the SBA division regarding loan structure verification, system of record documentation, and general compliance with industry and bank rules and regulations. Participate in the preparation for, and administration of, audits by both internal and external regulators. Assist in the creation and maintenance of audit findings and exception reporting in nCino and Excel. Assist in the review of adversely rated credits in support of transfer to the Special Assets Group. Ensure all internal tickler and covenant requirements are properly initiated in the core systems of record. Stay up to date on internal and external policy and SBA/Commercial Lending regulatory requirements, as well as business and corporate structure requirements. Assist in the exception clearing process, inclusive of the review of documentation submitted in support. Other duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For

Minimum of three years of experience in commercial/SBA lending as a processor, packager, or closer for SBA Loans. Relevant work experience with SBA lending will be considered. Degree in business or a paralegal certification preferred. Knowledge of various legal entity borrowing structures such as Limited Liability Companies, Corporations, Partnerships, Tenant in Common structures, etc. Knowledge of required reviews and verifications through the Secretary of State, etc., and the type of entity documentation required for each type. Knowledge of Flood Insurance Compliance and required documentation. Knowledge of Loan Closing processes and required documentation. Working knowledge of PCFS – Loan Manager and nCino preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Self-starter that is able to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to complete work in a timely, efficient manner with impeccable accuracy. Working Conditions/Demands

Professional office setting. Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer. Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
