Psychologist Outpatient General Pediatrics Assistant/Associate Professor- College of Medicine
This full-time position includes: clinical care as well as other academic pursuits and research opportunities. This is a non-tenure position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the position include providing outpatient psychology services for University Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists (ULPS) in the General Pediatrics clinic. To provide behavioral and mental health care to patients through an integrated model as part of their routine health care in their medical home. To provide mental health care to adolescent populations.
Potential for supervision of psychology students or other allied mental health professionals.
Responsibilities include clinical care duties as described, academic and research pursuits.
Qualifications
Requires an PhD or PsyD (in clinical, counseling, or school psychology) Must be able to obtain a State of Tennessee license
Departmental Preferences
Ability/interest to provide care for pediatric populations in an integrated model in the medical home to address mental and behavioral healthcare issues as part of routine care and as scheduled follow up interventions. Ability/interest to provide care to a adolescent populations with specific interest in treatment of eating disorders.
