You will lead the design and release of mechanical assemblies, layouts, and BOMs within larger system projects You will ensure mechanical designs align with system-level requirements, manufacturability, and cost targets You will perform calculations, tolerance analysis, and design reviews to guarantee the reliability of equipment You will collaborate with controls, electrical, and software teams to align system integration You will support FAT, SAT, and commissioning through hands-on troubleshooting and validation Interface with suppliers, offshore teams, and manufacturing to ensure designs are built and installed successfully You will provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and provide feedback on future system designs You will travel up to 30% to support customer integration projects Your Profile
You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field You have gained 2-5 years of mechanical design experience in automation, capital equipment, or material handling You are proficient in 3D CAD modeling and mechanical documentation (e.g., Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) You know of materials, fabrication methods, and GD&T You have demonstrated the ability to independently execute mechanical design tasks within multi-disciplinary projects, with a strong track record of delivering integrated, on-schedule solutions in complex system environments, including on-site validation and integration You are comfortable working in office, shop, and warehouse environments with occasional exposure to noise, confined spaces, and temperature changes You have strong communication skills for cross-functional and customer-facing collaboration Eligible applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
