Senior Information Systems Security Officer

BlueHalo, an AV Company, is seeking a strong Information System Security Officer to join the team and support the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance efforts. This role involves proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Assist security authorization activities in compliance with the National Information Systems Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF). Manage security aspects of the information system and perform daily security operations. Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information. Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program, ensuring policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Assess the security impact of changes to the system. Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to support certification and accreditation. Provide configuration management (CM) for security software, hardware, and firmware. Prepare and review documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs). Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related field. 12+ years of related experience, including at least 7 years supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity. DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or IAT Level III (e.g., CASP, CISSP, or equivalent). Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Salary Range:
$120,000 - $175,000 The pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee. Compensation depends on various factors including experience, location, and organizational needs.
