Project Engineer – Hydraulic Systems (Direct Hire)
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and delivery of hydraulic systems from concept through implementation.
Create schematics, layouts, and select components such as pumps, valves, manifolds, and cylinders.
Support manufacturing, testing, and installation to ensure designs perform as intended.
Troubleshoot system issues and implement practical, effective solutions.
Maintain thorough documentation, including calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE license a plus.
3–5+ years of hands-on experience designing hydraulic systems.
Proficiency with CAD and hydraulic design/modeling tools.
Strong understanding of pumps, valves, manifolds, cylinders, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
Problem-solver with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
