We are seeking an Economic & Financial Economist to join our team. As an Economic & Financial Economist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. Viable candidates must be willing to work onsite at iQuery's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida. Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and tools Develop and maintain data models, databases, and reporting systems Create visualizations and reports using analytics tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data solutions Assist in the design and implementation of ETL processes for data integration Conduct research and provide recommendations for process improvements Support project management activities related to data analysis initiatives Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets Proficiency in SQL & R for database querying and manipulation Experience with data visualization tools Knowledge of programming languages such as Python for data analysis tasks Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex economic concepts into clear and concise messages for diverse audiences Experience in business analysis or related roles Knowledge of predictive analytics techniques Qualifications / Certifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or 3+ years’ experience Equal Opportunity Employer. M/F/D/V
