Overview
Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager Location: Cincinnati, OH 45209 (Hybrid - 2+ days in office/week) Employment Type: Full-Time Relocation: Available (regional) Sponsorship: Available Reports to: Senior Tax Leadership Direct Reports: Yes Responsibilities
Manage and lead client engagements from planning to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and budget alignment Review and approve corporate income tax returns and ASC 740 tax provisions Lead the execution and review of income tax accounting under ASC 740 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to senior associates, associates, and interns Conduct performance evaluations and support career development of team members Identify and act on opportunities to deliver additional services to clients Research complex tax issues and provide consultative guidance Maintain strong client relationships and represent the firm with professionalism Collaborate across teams, including audit, consulting, and the national tax office Respond to federal, state, and local tax authority inquiries Attend regular training sessions to stay current on tax law and compliance updates Adhere to the highest standards of client confidentiality and ethical conduct Required Qualifications
CPA license (active) or JD/active law license Minimum 4-7 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and consulting Strong hands-on experience in ASC 740 income tax provision preparation or audit support Recent experience working at a Top 15 public accounting firm Hybrid work model: Must be willing to work from the Chicago office at least 2 days/week Based in or willing to relocate to Chicago Preferred Qualifications
