The Department of Architecture in the College of Architecture and Planning seeks a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments will be made. Lecturers hired from this pool will teach six-credit-hour design studios in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. Teaching modes may include in-person, hybrid, online, or remote formats. Responsibilities include developing and managing student projects through constructive critique and utilizing technologies from traditional drafting to advanced digital design tools and visualization software. If applying to a non-studio course, applicants should demonstrate expertise in the relevant area of focus. If an applicant has an area of expertise beyond design studios and would like to teach a three-credit-hour course, please highlight this in the cover letter. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications:

Preference given to applicants with a professional degree in architecture or a terminal degree in a related field. Additional preference for applicants with prior teaching experience, professional registration, and/or a record of professional practice in architecture. Applicant Instructions
