Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases
(Chapter 7 experience will be considered). This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication, organization, and case management skills. Hours: Monday–Thursday 10 AM – 6 PM Friday 9 AM – 5 PM. Pay:
$55,000-$65,000/yr Key Responsibilities
Draft, proofread, and prepare bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements of financial affairs, Chapter 13 plans, and related filings. File documents electronically through
CM/ECF and PACER
in federal bankruptcy courts. Manage bankruptcy case files, track deadlines, and maintain attorney calendars. Meet with clients for intake, documentation collection, and case updates. Communicate with trustees, court staff, and clients to support case progression. Assist attorneys in preparing for 341 meetings, hearings, and other bankruptcy-related proceedings. Conduct basic legal research and prepare supporting case materials. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a
Bankruptcy Paralegal , with a focus on debtor-side work. Strong knowledge of
Chapter 13 bankruptcy procedures
(preferred). Proficiency with federal e-filing systems ( CM/ECF, PACER ). Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail. Professional client-facing communication skills (written and verbal). Paralegal certificate or degree preferred. Ideal Candidate Attributes
