Job Description Summary The successful candidate will join a collaborative and cohesive group of physicians at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Brain Innovation Center, specializing in Brain Injury, Stroke, Brain Tumors, and Neurodegenerative conditions. Clinical responsibilities include managing an inpatient census of 10-14 patients and conducting two half-day outpatient clinics weekly, primarily involving stroke patients but also other neuro-rehabilitation diagnoses. Outpatient duties include new patient evaluations, inpatient follow-ups, and spasticity management if desired.
Job Details The candidate will be a member of the medical staff with a faculty appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Responsibilities include participating in the education and training of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residents, as well as engaging in research and scholarly activities supported by the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

Practicing Physician Responsibilities
Collaborate with organizational leaders and staff to meet goals.
Provide medical leadership within the interdisciplinary team.
Ensure treatment plans are appropriate and effective, overseeing involvement of medical and health staff.
Participate in medical staff committees, providing leadership as needed.
Perform other duties in the best interest of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Program Medical Director or the Chief Medical Officer.
Qualifications
Medical license in Illinois.
Completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation; Board certified or eligible.
Faculty appointment at Northwestern University Medical School.
Excellent communication and interdisciplinary skills, with ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and stakeholders.
Working Conditions
Standard office environment with minimal exposure to dust or extreme temperatures.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $250,000 - $350,000 annually. Benefits details available at
