LINQ’s Research & Development department drives innovation and continuous improvement across Payments, Nutrition, or Platform teams. The team explores new technologies, optimizes systems, and develops forward-thinking solutions to shape the future of LINQ. Through collaboration and rigorous testing, they ensure LINQ’s software remains cutting-edge and aligned with customer needs. About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at LINQ, you will be a vital member of a cross-functional team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our core platform. You will deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the diverse needs of K12 schools, districts, and the families they serve. You will work across our technology stack, focused on our payments platform applications built with NodeJS, C#, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Angular. Primary Objectives : Technical Leadership:
Lead architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade applications while promoting engineering best practices. Strategic Vision:
Define and shape the technical roadmap for LINQ’s platform and influence broader technical strategies. Mentorship and Collaboration:
Guide engineers at all levels, fostering innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning. What You’ll Be Doing
Design and develop robust, scalable, secure features
for web and backend applications. Implement high-quality code
in Angular, Node, and .NET, adhering to best practices and performance standards. Take ownership of production operations
for key components, including monitoring, issue resolution, and SLA adherence for consumer-facing systems. Research and prototype new technologies
to enhance the platform and team capabilities. Contribute to system architecture evolution
to scale for future needs and maintainability. Participate in agile ceremonies
and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Improve team processes
to enhance workflow and efficiency. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA
in a fully remote, agile environment to deliver releases. Mentor engineers at all levels , sharing expertise and promoting best practices. Write clean, testable, secure code
and contribute to team productivity within sprint deadlines. What We Are Looking For
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Extensive Software Development Experience:
10+ years with emphasis on .NET and web technologies, architectural design, and cloud-based solutions. Expertise in Scalable Systems:
Designing and implementing scalable, distributed enterprise systems. Proficiency in Modern Development Practices:
Microservices, CI/CD, and cloud-native frameworks. Advanced Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional Communication Skills:
Ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven Leadership and Mentorship:
Experience leading engineering teams and influencing cross-functional initiatives. What will Make You Stand Out
Extensive .NET Expertise:
Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core for enterprise apps. Cloud-Native Architecture Proficiency:
