Job Title: Systems Support Analyst Department: Information Technology Supervisor: Associate Director of Network and Technical Services Essential Functions

Support Windows and macOS client systems directly and through management tools such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune, or equivalent endpoint management platforms. Collaborate with Technical Services Team to implement, support, and maintain IT infrastructure including Windows servers, Cisco network switches, Cisco wireless access points, and network cabling. Perform user account management in coordination with the Systems Administrator and the Office of Human Resources. Assist with security controls such as patch management, MFA, endpoint protection, email protection, and user account protection, in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards. Follow guidance from the IT Infrastructure Manager to execute maintenance and monitoring procedures for the campus data center. Develop documentation for systems and procedures for end users and technical staff. Serve as the primary escalation point for the help desk by providing Tier 3 support and advanced troubleshooting for network, system, and specialized application issues. Coordinate with external vendors to support, maintain, and troubleshoot systems and infrastructure components. Participate in IT projects of varying scopes, including infrastructure upgrades and system migrations; lead small-scale implementations under guidance from senior team members. Perform other duties as assigned, including backup support for other members of the Office of Information Technology. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Systems, or a related field. A combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with two years of relevant full-time experience (or the equivalent in part-time experience) in a related role. Work experience during college is acceptable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to provide high-quality customer service to the Pitzer community. Commitment to ongoing technical skill development through training and experience. Ability to speak and write English clearly and persuasively, with attention to detail and to the needs of the target audience. Expertise in the use of productivity software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Google Docs, etc.). Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts, particularly related to Windows and macOS systems. Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment. Problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot, research, and resolve issues independently and efficiently. Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage projects to ensure timely and accurate completion. Other Details

Supervisory Responsibility: No Time Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on College/department needs. Work Model: Hybrid Compensation: $23.08-$27.88 per hour Application Materials
