Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Coordination: Lead interdisciplinary teams to ensure project solutions meet quality goals. Guide technical staff in developing high-impact engineering proposals
Project Execution & Management: Plan and deliver projects on time and within budget. Oversee project schedules, staff, and reporting to ensure success
Client Relations & Strategic Communication: Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted point of contact. Negotiate and manage project scope to ensure client and company satisfaction
Financial Oversight & Reporting: Monitor project financials, providing regular updates on status and performance
Business Development & Marketing Impact: Drive marketing efforts, identify opportunities, and support proposal initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or a related field) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience
Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in a nuclear energy facility
Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear industry as an Engineer or Project Manager
Professional Engineer Licensure required
Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes
Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites
Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
Position may occasionally require a client site assignment lasting several months at a time
