We are hiring a Budtender for our High Plainz Strains of Garden City (Greeley) location. General Info Heavy preference will be given to candidates who already have their badge to work in the cannabis industry in Colorado. If you don\'t already have that, you can apply with the State of Colorado. The ideal candidate for this role will have open availability for the hours this store is open — Sunday to Saturday, 8 am to 12 midnight. This person will have a positive, friendly attitude and a passion for and knowledge of cannabis, and love interacting with our customers. This is a full-time position, and you will generally be scheduled 30-35 hours per week. Pay - $15.00/hour, plus tips (which are recorded and taxed). We offer a competitive benefits package, including Health Insurance (Kaiser), Dental Insurance (Delta Dental), Vision (VSP), and Gap/Accident/Illness Insurance (Transamerica). Paid sick and vacation time is accrued through hours worked. Our culture is about having fun and building strong connections; customer service is our top priority. We are looking for candidates with experience in customer service who genuinely enjoy helping others. While knowledge of cannabis products is a plus, it’s not required. We have a team eager to help you learn about the range of cannabis products we offer. Responsibilities Engage with customers, answering questions and making suggestions on different products to purchase. Provide a high level of customer service to all customers. Stock products on the sales floor. Handle cash with accuracy and integrity. Follow all rules and regulations set by the organization and the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED). Ideal Skills And Experience To begin working in any dispensary in Colorado, you must have a valid badge from the State of Colorado to work in the cannabis industry. This badge is obtained at the candidate/employee’s cost, and the company does not reimburse for this. Because this is a customer-facing role, reliability is important. Customer service experience, ideally in a retailer or service industry (retail, server, bartender, host). Friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Passion for the cannabis industry/product — even if you do not partake, you should be excited about what it can do for folks. General knowledge about cannabis products is a big plus.
