Overview
Cyber Security Engineer (Elastic SME) role at CACI International Inc, DCGS Management Center (DMC) program located at Langley AFB, VA. This role focuses on maintaining and developing the Elasticsearch cluster, ensuring health, status, and security monitoring of systems. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats components. Monitor and troubleshoot Elasticsearch cluster health and performance issues. Provide technical support to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the AF DCGS. Create custom Kibana dashboards and visualizations to provide insights into data trends. Utilize extensive understanding of Linux command line administration. Configure syslog, audit.d, and Windows audit policies. Perform server rebuilds, deployments, and parser customization. Apply knowledge of common enterprise security devices and tools. Utilize scripting languages and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet). Manage tasks using a ticketing system. Work with Microsoft and Linux operating systems. Qualifications
Required: Top Secret/SCI clearance Bachelor’s degree in IS Technology, Computer Science, or related field (negotiable with equivalent experience) Minimum of 5 years of related experience DOD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent) Desired: AF DCGS experience Four to seven years of Linux systems administration experience Knowledge of security best practices and standards, including NIST, ISO, and SOC operations Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems and network protocols Experience with SIEM and Log management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and collaboration skills Availability to work weekends and holidays as part of our 24/7 operations What You Can Expect

The proposed salary range reflects factors including location, contract labor categories, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications.
