Overview Lead and supervise field crews on utility and concrete construction projects, including water lines, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and associated civil site work. Manage daily field operations and coordinate resources to maintain schedule and production targets.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise field crews on utility and concrete construction projects, including water lines, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and associated civil site work.
Manage daily field operations including layout, excavation, trenching, pipe installation, and structural concrete placement.
Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and production targets.
Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, and project requirements.
Interpret construction drawings, details, and specifications; proactively address and resolve field conflicts.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Communicate with project managers, inspectors, engineers, and owners to coordinate workflow and address project issues.
Maintain daily jobsite records, including production tracking, safety logs, and inspection documentation.
Lead jobsite safety meetings, toolbox talks, and quality control checks.
Qualifications
5+ years of field leadership experience in water, wastewater, and civil utility construction.
Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and project documents.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience with layout and digital field reporting tools.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
