Environmental Project Manager
to work with our Houston, TX team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of technical projects from simple to complex. You’ll spend time working outdoors performing field tasks, overseeing project activity, and training junior staff. And you’ll work in the office conducting research, writing technical reports, preparing proposals, and collaborating with others regarding project planning and execution, technical strategies, and financials. Planning, coordinating, and performing soil and groundwater field investigations Performing environmental remediation oversight and sampling Conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments Reviewing and analyzing field and laboratory data Preparing environmental investigation work plans, reports, and feasibility studies, and other project documents; compiling tables, figures, maps, and cross-sections for technical deliverables Researching, interpreting, applying, and ensuring compliance with federal and state rules and regulations regarding environmental permitting, compliance, and remediation Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports Managing field logistics, including scheduling, permitting, equipment readiness, and sample shipment Interfacing with clients and subcontractors Implementing and ensuring health and safety best practices Managing projects within designated timeframes and budgets Qualifications
BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field 5-10 years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and report writing At least 2 years of experience managing environmental remediation projects and budgets, supervising project staff, and working with Texas spill rules (TCEQ Chapter 327) and Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP, Chapter 350) Strong technical writing and communication skills Safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices Valid driver’s license and safe driving record Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Able to pass drug & alcohol screening and background check Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or 8-hour annual refresher) Who we are
