Corporate Accountant

Lincoln Property Company . We are seeking a skilled Accountant responsible for accounting functions across six regional offices and multiple joint ventures. Responsibilities include: Reviewing accounts payable and receivable, posting batches Managing construction management fees, property management fees, payroll reimbursements, and contacting parties for outstanding invoices Interfacing with the internal tax group and preparing tax requests Preparing and reviewing construction draws Issuing timely financial statements to executives Explaining variances between actual and budgeted income and expenses Recording acquisition and disposition entries Assisting with annual audits for third parties and joint ventures Preparing annual regional budgets Reviewing monthly cash forecasts for joint ventures Calculating and reviewing distribution and contribution requests Providing financial analyses for capital investments Handling special projects as assigned Communicating effectively with staff, supervisors, peers, auditors, and clients Establishing priorities and delegating tasks Demonstrating strong analytical skills, being well-organized, self-starting, and capable of managing multiple priorities Desired skills and experience: At least 1 year of public accounting or commercial real estate accounting experience Knowledge of GAAP, tax, and fair value accounting Understanding of real estate accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; CPA a plus but not required Experience with MRI, Yardi, Skyline, JD Edwards, CTI systems desired Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other PC-based software Additional notes: All offers contingent on background check and proof of work eligibility in the U.S. Employment details
