Senior Cost Accountant . This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, leading month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX standards. Responsibilities
Lead financial planning and analysis functions including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, balance sheet, and P&L reconciliations Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and capital projects Manage SOX audit requirements and ensure timely completion of audits Oversee fixed asset management and conduct asset inventories Handle intercompany balancing and reconciliation of A/P and A/R Create and apply automated tools for updating, analyzing, and reporting consolidated financial data Partner with finance leadership to support strategic decision-making through financial insights Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within manufacturing Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance Proficiency with financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation processes Experience managing intercompany transactions and asset inventories Advanced Excel skills or similar tools for financial modeling and automation Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines MBA in Accounting or Finance CPA certification Experience with Plex ERP Prior experience in a senior analyst or FP&A role Company & About
