Investment Operations Analyst - Investment Management
Location: New York, NY (Remote candidates considered) We are seeking candidates for an Investment Operations Analyst position with an industry-leading Investment Management firm. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience in finance, accounting, or economics (including internships). This is a contract-to-hire role paying $20/hr for a 40-hour work week. Responsibilities:
Analyze monthly fixed income portfolio asset reports for client accounts. Submit daily/monthly asset and cash reconciliations for custodian banks. Monitor cash flows, expenses, collateral holdings, and income receivables. Research and report variances and incorrect holdings, coordinate with banks, and monitor futures, options, and swaps. Use Bloomberg for research on portfolio discrepancies. Qualifications:
B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. GPA above 3.0 (preferred). 0-1 years of experience, including internships, with an interest in Investment Operations. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs & pivot tables). Ability to work independently and in a team. Attention to detail, eagerness to learn, proactive attitude.
