About the Role The Assistant Corporate Controller will oversee several accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to GAAP standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting background and understanding of operational accounting processes. Responsibilities
Assist with the consolidated month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Enhance the Company’s monthly account reconciliation process. Co-lead the annual audit process and manage the PBC list with auditors. Support inventory management and accounting functions. Assist with the preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Key Responsibilities Continued
Coordinate with various departments to reconcile key customer and vendor accounts. Oversee post-acquisition financial integration into NetSuite for newly acquired entities. Partner with the Controller and CFO to monitor post-acquisition performance metrics. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations. Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls. Strategic Financial Management
Collaborate with the Corporate Controller, CFO, and executive team to develop financial strategies. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Lead ad-hoc reports and projects as applicable. Team Leadership
Lead and mentor several accounting teams, fostering collaboration and growth. Provide clear priorities and proactive communication to drive team success. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Oversee the optimization of ERP systems. What Sets This Opportunity Apart

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required. 6+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Background with state, local, and sales tax filings. Experience managing audits and working with external auditors. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities. Skills & Competencies
