Location: Pocahontas, VA, Pocahontas State Correctional Center operates a Fentanyl Response Program providing substance use disorder services to males identified for treatment. Pocahontas State Correctional Center is a level 3 security facility. Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with a 1-hour unpaid meal break. Pay rate
$26.44/hr. ($55,000 annually). Candidates with a CSAC, CADC, or equivalent license/certification are eligible for a pay rate of $28.85/hr. ($60,000 annually). Benefits

Facilitating group programming and meetings, individual counseling sessions, case management services, and clinical documentation for inmates within the program. Conducting comprehensive assessments and individual treatment plans within established timeframes. Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, and conferences. Working closely with the Virginia Department of Corrections personnel to ensure quality delivery of services and promote a healing environment. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field is required. State certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia or similar certification/license recognized by the Virginia Board of Professional Counselors is required within two (2) years of signing job description.
