This role involves supervising the daily work of the institution's dental staff and providing comprehensive clinical dental services to inmates, including examinations, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries. Responsibilities
Provide basic dental care and perform dental treatment; assist specialists in their procedures on-site. Supervise the daily work of the dental staff and ensure appropriate security, tool control, and compliance with Toxic and Caustic Control within the dental office. Consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other health care professionals. Maintain clinical autonomy with a focus on quality care and patient safety. Collaborate with experienced auxiliary staff and receive managerial support. Work Schedule and Environment
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break Monday through Friday schedule; no evenings, weekends, or on-call duties Telework not available for this position Compensation and Benefits (summary)

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
Graduation from an approved school of dentistry Applicants are considered to have met educational requirements when they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree Special Requirements
License to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry Other Requirements
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title Ability to perform essential job functions Legal Requirements
Pass a background investigation and meet CJIS compliance requirements How to Apply
