Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Provide engineering support across all phases — from design and prototyping to production and process optimization. Apply scientific, engineering, and statistical principles to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. Lead troubleshooting and corrective actions for non-conformances using root cause and failure analysis. Manage engineering changes (ECRs) and validate process improvements with analytical tools and data. Develop work instructions, test procedures, and technical documentation based on OEM specs and engineering drawings. Interface with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues or develop new processes. Oversee and justify capital projects with ROI analysis. Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Support compliance with AS9100/9110 standards and other regulatory requirements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment. Proven expertise with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. Strong ability to interpret FAA and aerospace engineering specifications. ERP system experience (creating/modifying work instructions and BOMs). Hands-on knowledge of processes such as welding, brazing, machining, heat treatment, and metal cleaning preferred. AS9100/9110 experience preferred. Lean or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification a plus. Employment details
