Wind Turbine Generator Equipment Engineer – Contract 4 months. Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL. A Wind Turbine Generator Equipment Engineer focuses on the electrical aspects of wind turbine systems, ensuring the generators and related equipment function efficiently and reliably. This role involves design, analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the electrical components within a wind turbine. Ensure the generator and other electrical systems operate correctly, maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime. Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and deliverables Data driven decision making skills Ability to relate to Field Service Personnel to provide adequate technical support Qualifications
Bachelor’s - Engineering Experience: 2+ years Strong understanding of electrical rotating machines, including electromagnetic theory and machine dynamics Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions for generator systems, using diagnostic tools such as Vibration Monitoring, MCSA, ESA, and endoscopic inspections Familiarity with materials and techniques used in the construction of rotating electrical machines and the manufacturing processes involved Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards for QMS; familiarity and experience with Root Cause Analysis Experience with writing repair, operations, and/or maintenance procedures and specifications Capability to translate and communicate financial and technical business cases to gain leadership approval The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $54 - $70 hourly, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills.
