A dynamic and innovative automation team is seeking a skilled and driven Control Engineer to support the development of advanced packaging machinery. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about designing and programming cutting-edge control systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems for automated machinery Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to deliver high-performance packaging solutions Travel occasionally to customer sites for system commissioning and support Troubleshoot and analyze control systems to drive continuous improvement and innovation Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in PLC and motion control programming for industrial systems Proficiency in Rockwell platforms including CompactLogix, ControlLogix, and RSLogix Experience with AutoCAD and electrical panel design Strong project management, problem-solving, and hands-on troubleshooting skills Familiarity with current trends in automation and instrumentation Preferred Qualifications
Background in packaging machinery Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Experience with SolidWorks Strong interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented and reliable work ethic Expertise in automation architecture design Knowledge of Intrinsically Safe (Class 1 Division 1) design requirements Why Join This Team?
