Work in a dynamic environment in which you’ll use your passion, technical experience, and strong problem solving skills to continuously improve mechanical solutions from concept to full rate production within Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will interact with DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Case Management, and our Supply Chain (Partner) Network and must have the ability to effectively communicate in a fast paced, multidisciplinary team environment at all levels. A typical day will consist of, virtually and onsite, leading a myriad of quality centric activities from concept to full rate production within Xometry and it’s partner network. Using your experience, you will work cross-functionally with internal and external customers teams to reduce supplier nonconformities by leading RCAs to improve customer satisfaction through systematic methods within Gaithersburg. Additionally, you will manage the internal, customer, and certification audits along with the Quality Management System (QMS) library. To ensure customer growth, aid in completing customer surveys while managing internal corrective actions and the Material Review Board (MRB). This person will work closely with Case Management, Partner Support, and remote Quality Engineering, effectively managing quality as an onsite quality expert to ensure quick turnaround time. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience 5+ years experience in a quality role, or equivalent 2+ years experience in customer/supplier facing role or equivalent Strong Quality Assurance / Supplier Development experience Effective communicator with data at all levels of the organization Effective facilitator of cross functional team meetings and problem solving Ability to relentlessly triage multiple process root causes simultaneously Good time management / project management capabilities Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ Full understanding of GD&T and tooling Mechanical/Manufacturing processing knowledge Able to read and interpret drawings/specifications Big Data development and trend analysis experience ISO 9001 and Internal audits experience Expected travel requirement of 5%-10% Preferred Qualifications: ASQ Certification Familiar with Google Workspace, Looker, Salesforce Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 auditing certifications Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
