The Electric Power Systems team within Power and Controls SBU is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented engineer to play a critical role in supporting both new product development and resolving field issues across design, analysis, and testing functions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the engineering lifecycle—from creating technical documentation and test plans to engaging in hands-on problem solving and root cause investigations. Support existing product development and field issues related to design, analysis, and test. Create Engineering documentation such as hardware specification development, test plans, analytical reports, and test reports. Perform to program plans (budgets and schedules). Effectively communicate with management, suppliers, customers, and members of the technical design team. Participate in design discussions and customer presentations. Conduct engineering investigations to establish root cause and verify then implement corrective action. Adhere and develop engineering standard work. Respond to supplier or plant site issues, analyze and correct operations and field issues. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in design, test, and manufacturing of mechanical components and systems Background with structural and thermal analysis, and 3D design software Experience with Excel (i.e., VBA, Solver, etc.) Experience preparing and executing to a program plan. What We Offer
