Mercury Systems
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Lead a team of mechanical assemblers in performing a variety of tasks relating to assembly of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
You are responsible to
Lead a team of mechanical assemblers; manage workflow and work assignments
Manage employee performance, including performance reviews and performance discussions.
Train new employees and coach current employees
Will also work as an assembler:
Working from diagrams and drawings
Using hand and/or power tools and jigs.
Making continuity checks on work in process and completed.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

To succeed in this role, you need following skills and experience:
Required
3+ years of mechanical assembly of Mercury Microwave products
Strong leadership skills as demonstrated by proactively training new employees, providing general direction, and assisting in work coordination
Proven ability to partner with operations-related teams: technician, quality, materials
High School Degree or equivalent required
Strong assembly skills
Execute procedures, processes and work instructions
Strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper application
Strong organizational and time management skills
Must be detailed oriented
Must be able to meet quality and quantity production requirements
Experience using Microsoft Office
Experience using Factory Logic
Effectively learn and stay up to date on product configurations and best practices
