GEOTEK LLC . The Sr. Composite Process Engineer is responsible for leading engineering projects to support continuous optimization of the composite manufacturing process. Leveraging department composite expertise, the Sr. Composite Process Engineer will foster continuous improvement and increased productivity as GEOTEK grows. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, self-starting, hands-on, resilient, and an influential leader who can work from a vision and independently develop actionable tasks and projects. They are data-driven, detail oriented, organized, and capable of challenging existing processes to promote safety, quality, and productivity. The candidate must conduct their work professionally with a positive demeanor and be able to work cross-functionally. Previous experience in composite manufacturing is highly desirable. Leadership Provide leadership in developing composite manufacturing capabilities for new filament wound products; process development, equipment/tooling design, continuous improvement, and operations support. Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the organization. Align with operations by maintaining open and frequent communication with managers and supervisors. Provide cross-functional process engineering support for production quality, equipment readiness, new product development, and cost reduction/supply chain risk mitigation. Provide support and coaching to other composite manufacturing engineering team members. Own assigned engineering responsibilities of the composite manufacturing processes, primarily filament winding. Project management Scope and manage projects that improve safety, quality, and productivity in the composite manufacturing department. Develop project plans with milestones and schedules; delegate tasks as necessary. Production support Guide and train production teams for root cause investigation and resolution of manufacturing issues. Develop and own short-term and long-term production improvement initiatives and non-conformance mitigation plans. Maintain operations-focused manufacturing work instructions and troubleshooting guides.

Continuous improvement Identify and implement capital expenditure projects, including new tooling and equipment. Utilize test laboratory equipment to optimize design for performance and manufacturability. Challenge procedures and propose new equipment, technologies, and processes to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Document best practices for composite processing and equipment/tooling design. Organization Maintain clear documentation of operating standards and processes to support training and technical assistance. Maintain accurate project documentation for future reference. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechanical, manufacturing, composite, or chemical preferred). 5–10 years in a continuous processing manufacturing environment, with recent composites/filament winding/pultrusion experience preferred. Energetic, hands-on problem solver; able to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly. Ability to work from a vision and independently develop actionable tasks and projects. Professional and concise communication skills (written and verbal). Familiarity with thermoset resin systems (polyester, vinyl-ester, urethane) is desirable; familiarity with tooling design and development is desirable. Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and experience with GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) is desirable. Experience with MS Office; detail-oriented and organized. Ability to lead off-shift trials and production support requests as required. Able to stand, lift, and use manual and power tools; able to adhere to corporate policies. Benefits
