Overview
Lee Health is seeking an Allergy and Immunology Medical Director. Lee Health is a non-profit organization with over 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida, more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and over 1,100 employed primary care and specialty care providers in Lee Physician Group. The health system includes four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals with 1,812 hospital beds. Position Information
Lee Physician Group – Allergy and Immunology is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained, board-certified Allergy and Immunology Physician to join the practice as the Medical Director. The practice provides a full spectrum of diagnostic, consulting, and treatment services for pediatric and adult patients, including oral challenges, food desensitization, skin testing, immunology, immunotherapy, and spirometry. The Medical Director will provide oversight to 3 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers across 5 practice sites. The outpatient role will be primarily direct patient care in the Allergy and Immunology clinic with Medical Director administrative hours scheduled as needed. A flexible schedule is available with no weekends required. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with system leadership and participate in strategic planning and decision making for the Allergy and Immunology department. Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Allergy and Immunology clinic. Offer Medical Director oversight to 3 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers across 5 practice sites. Participate in strategic planning and decision making for the department. Schedule Medical Director administrative hours as needed. Collaborate with system leadership on initiatives to advance allergy and immunology services. Qualifications
