Overview

Regional Vice President, Franchise Sales Development – Extended Stay. Must be based in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California, Utah, Colorado, or Arizona. The Franchise Sales - Extended Stay team is responsible for meeting and exceeding growth goals through the conversion of existing hotels for the MainStay Suites® and Suburban Extended Stay Hotel® Brands. As a key member of this team, you will contribute to the development and growth of the Market Area Strategic Business Plan and execute against the plan by calling on prospective franchisees, developing relationships with developers, third-party management companies, lenders, brokers, and industry groups within a geographical market. Responsibilities

Provide input on the development of the Market Area Strategic Business Plan. Execute against the Business Plan and build a pipeline of prospective franchisees to meet or exceed set goals/quotas for conversions and new construction projects of hotels. Communicate and manage internal relations with Area Directors and other internal associates to foster growth opportunities for the assigned brand and Choice Hotels overall. Manage the contract/approval process and collaborate with Franchise Administration and other internal resources to ensure timely information flow and application processing. Assist franchisees with identifying financial programs, site selection, or partnership dollars. Collaborate with Franchise Services to effectively upgrade/replace existing inventory in accordance with the Market Area plan and ensure brand identity compliance. Plan and execute to ensure brand identity compliance. Work with brand leaders and operations teams to improve the quality of deals brought into the pipeline and the overall performance of the brand. Perform competitive and SWOT analyses of the assigned Market Area. Stay current with industry developments and market trends, updating the Business Plan as needed in collaboration with leadership. Build relationships in Finance, Construction, Hotel Development, and related communities within the Market Area. Actively participate in professional and industry groups recognized internally and externally. Represent Choice Hotels at franchise-related events, trade shows, etc. Experience, Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of successful Hospitality franchise sales and/or hotel development/real estate transaction experience within the geographic market area strongly preferred; or significant history of successful B2B sales of high-ticket/multi-million-dollar products or services through a multi-faceted complex sales process. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). CRM experience is desirable. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals, driving business results, and collaborating with leaders across the organization. Strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor; strong analytical abilities. Knowledge of the hotel industry, competitive brands, and Choice Hotels’ sales/marketing strategies and service offerings. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Must live within or be willing to relocate to the geographic market area. Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Vice President, Franchise Sales Development. Salary Range & Benefits

Salary potential up to or above $430,000 in total cash compensation, including base salary and sales commissions. Commissions are variable based on performance.
