Since 1995, our client has been a leader in designing, manufacturing, and installing high-quality commercial steel structures and exterior envelope systems. Their work includes self-storage facilities, post-and-beam structures, ACM panels, insulated metal panels (IMP), and custom architectural features. Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, maintaining accountability for all phases of project development, from pre-construction through to closeout. Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project schedules, scopes of work, and resource plans; coordinate internal resources and subcontractors for project execution; ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget; identify and manage project risks, resolve conflicts, and proactively solve problems. Financial and Contract Management: Manage and track project budgets, purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, and change orders; review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure project understanding and compliance; maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular budget, cost, and progress reports. Team and Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors; lead project meetings and track action items; collaborate with drafting, fabrication, and field teams to ensure the accuracy of solutions and that all project milestones are met. Quality, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA standards, company safety programs, and regulatory requirements; perform regular job site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications. Project Closeout: Manage project punch lists and ensure timely completion; facilitate project handoff to the client and prepare closeout documentation, including warranties, as-builts, and final invoicing. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience). 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial steel construction, roofing systems, or exterior envelope projects. Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and related documents. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days). High attention to detail and quality; Financial and contractual acumen; Strong time management and prioritization skills; Client-focused mindset; Team leadership and collaboration abilities. Working Conditions

Split between office (planning and coordination) and field (site inspections at least twice a month, depending on project location). Travel to local and regional job sites is required. Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary based on project deadlines. Compensation and Benefits
