Graduate Engineer - Construction Engineering

Walter P Moore seeks a well-prepared graduate from a top engineering school to join our Construction Engineering Services team within the Structures Group. This role involves working on projects for contractors, steel fabricators, and erectors, supporting Project Managers by analyzing and validating structures during construction, developing construction sequencing for complex structures, designing temporary supporting structures, and steel connection design. Candidates should have strong computer analysis skills and coursework in steel design. As a graduate engineer, you will participate in project design teams across various architectural projects including commercial, sports, aviation, healthcare, education, and cultural buildings. You will also have opportunities to engage in our staff development program, MOORELearning. Qualifications

Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural Engineering EIT certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred Strength in steel design, steel connection design, and structural analysis SAP 2000 modeling experience Work experience or internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or erectors preferred Walter P Moore offers a hybrid work environment with options for in-office and remote work. Candidates should be able to commute or travel to the office periodically. We provide a one-time $1,000 home office setup stipend and a $50 monthly stipend for ongoing expenses. Pay Range

$71,000 - $84,000 in Denver $75,000 - $88,000 in San Diego Note: The salary ranges are estimates; actual compensation will depend on various factors including experience, skills, and location.
