Reliability Studies Engineer II , you will have the opportunity to conduct power system analysis studies that support MISO’s generation interconnection process. You will coordinate and interact with interconnection customers and transmission owners, engage in process improvement initiatives, project management, and take ownership of specific processes. Responsibilities
Administer simulations and technical analyses effectively. Engage in our study processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Prepare and deliver relevant communications and data to customers. Contribute to a highly functional team. Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or higher in one of several engineering disciplines (see qualifying degrees below). At least two (2) years’ experience related to power system planning, operations, or a related field. Preferred qualifications
Specific experience with PSS/E, MUST, TARA, TSAT, and VSAT is advantageous. Previous energy industry experience is advantageous. Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge. Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range being offered for this role is
$96,000-$113,000
USD annually. Salaries may vary by location, competencies, education, certifications, and experience. Position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual performance and company objectives.
