Candidates should be able to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic. Experience in water and wastewater projects is a plus. Responsibilities and Duties

Work on various aspects of civil engineering design, plan preparation, permitting, and construction oversight while working in a project team environment. Planning, design, and construction management of infrastructure projects focusing on water and wastewater projects, which may include Wastewater Conveyance and Pump Stations; Water Supply; Water Distribution and Storage; and Master planning services including hydraulic modeling. Contribute to projects including collecting existing utility data; performing modeling and simulation; site grading; water distribution system; sanitary sewer collection system; drainage analysis; roadway alignment; pavement marking; signage; and erosion control. Prepare project design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and other design software. Develop project-specific detail drawings. Assist with technical specifications, cost estimates, reports, schedules, and other related tasks. Learn and adhere to client-specific standards. Coordinate with team members and client representatives. Periodic travel to project sites for field investigation and/or construction support. Manage project outlines, initiation, schedules, execution, and closeout. Interface with multi-disciplinary design teams. Participate in local water and wastewater professional organizations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering. Master’s Degree is a plus. Engineer-In-Training (EI) designation is preferred. The expectation is that such candidate would be working towards becoming a Professional Engineer (P.E.). A minimum of three (3) years of experience; candidates with more experience preferred. Excellent technical writing skills. Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility, and initiative. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
