This role involves overseeing the manufacturing process of solid rocket motors, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. A strong background in aerospace engineering, materials science, and hands-on manufacturing experience with solid rocket motors is essential. Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize energetic manufacturing processes. Manage the production of energetic materials, ensuring standards compliance. Collaborate across teams to integrate manufacturing processes. Develop process control methods to improve efficiency and quality. Perform failure analysis and address manufacturing defects. Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance. Train and mentor manufacturing staff. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or sciences. 4-10 years of experience in energetics manufacturing. Knowledge of solid rocket motor design and manufacturing. Experience with process control, quality assurance, and failure analysis. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years in energetics manufacturing. Experience with new system deployment, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automated systems. Compensation & Benefits:
Base pay range: $115,000 - $145,000/year, dependent on experience and skills. Comprehensive benefits including insurance, paid leave, retirement plans, and equity grants. Additional Information:
