Responsibilities
Drives and operates emergency response vehicles
Selects proper firefighting tools and equipment to control and extinguish fires
Performs search and rescue operations
Uses appropriate safety equipment to mitigate hazardous materials incidents
Performs extrication operations as needed
Inspects and conducts preventive maintenance on fire suppression systems
Delivers training sessions as assigned by the training division
Performs various security activities throughout the plant
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment and demonstrates company values of Safety, Teamwork, Accountability, Relationships, and Sustainability
Supports compliance with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 17025 competencies
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Active/valid/current Driver’s License
Alabama Professional Standards Fire Fighter I and II certification
Current Nationally Registered or State of Alabama EMT-Paramedic certification
One year of industrial Fire Fighter experience or two years of municipal Fire Fighter experience
Comfortable with tablet and interactive app use
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)

Technician certifications in High Angle/Rope Rescue, Confined Space, Trench Rescue
