Regional Vice President - Wholesaler (Four Corners)
Overview:
ProShares position focused on promoting ProShares Strategic ETFs across select WH firms, Independent BD’s and RIAs. The role involves channel segmentation, FA qualifying and profiling, and arranging appointments for meetings across a multi-state region. Requires in-depth investment and market knowledge, product presentation skills, analytical abilities and advanced selling skills. Responsibilities
Introduce current and prospective clients to ProShares ETFs and services through telephone conversations, web-based presentations, conference attendance and in-person meetings. Communicate primarily by telephone, web-based presentations, conference attendance, and in-person meetings as needed. Cultivate and manage client relationships by responding to inquiries, maintaining ongoing communication with clients/prospects, and ensuring exemplary service from ProShares Advisors and partners. Segment offices and advisors in the territory and proactively promote the ProShares Strategic ETF suite to qualifying prospects via outbound calls, email campaigns, inquiries, advertising and web lead follow-up. Promote knowledge sharing and trends across sales teams, support marketing strategy development and execution, and provide cross-selling leads for leveraged and inverse products to the tactical products team. Leverage company resources (investment specialists, capital markets, product management and marketing) in the execution of duties. Achieve prescribed sales goals and activity metrics (e.g., outbound calls, quality conversations, meeting scheduling, web presentations, RIA profiles, lead follow-up) as established by management. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience
Advanced credentials preferred (or in process) such as CFA, CFP, CAIA. FINRA licenses required (7 & 63). 5+ years of field sales experience within mutual funds and/or ETF sales as a senior internal wholesaler, hybrid wholesaler or external wholesaler. Proven sales success in the financial professional channel; ETF experience and product knowledge. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proactive caller, email and visit skills to educate on ProShares product suite and value proposition. Strong web-based and in-person presentation abilities. Able to meet activity metrics and sales goals; excellent verbal communications and territory management skills. Deep understanding of ETFs, investment products, financial concepts, investment management and client-service strategies. Proficient use of investment analytics and tools; ability to prioritize client projects and requests. Understanding of FA business model and competitive landscape in financial services; ability to identify critical services required of Financial Professionals. Broad product knowledge to act as main point of contact in the territory; capable of prospecting, profiling, selling, closing and servicing. Intermediate consulting and relationship-management skills; ability to provide sales support. Ability to travel approximately 25% for product presentations, road shows, lead follow-up and conference attendance. Compensation
The compensation for this position includes salary and incentive pay. The annual base salary for this role is $125,000 (USD), which does not include variable bonus. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
