Apply experience in design integration, Computational Electromagnetic (CEM) analysis, or antenna integration to support stealth/survivability programs. Predict design performance using proprietary or equivalent analysis codes and verify predictions through physical model building and testing. Optimize designs for stealth while coordinating with other engineering disciplines within an Integrated Product Team (IPT). Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering efforts across RF, IR, visual, and acoustic spectrums throughout the full Systems Engineering lifecycle (R&D to field support). Engage in fast-paced, collaborative work environments with high expectations and diverse assignments. Basic Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated skills and knowledge in Stealth (design integration, CEM analysis, or antenna integration). Ability to obtain and maintain a final adjudicated DoD Secret clearance and program access as required. Education/Experience: Sr. Principal Survivability Engineer: Bachelor’s in a STEM field with 8 years of related experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 0 years. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience using classified/advanced technology to reduce detectability across electromagnetic, infrared, visual, and acoustic spectrums. Experience with Northrop Grumman proprietary or similar CEM analysis tools. Experience planning and executing RF modeling and testing at high-profile RCS/RF test facilities. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to optimize stealth goals. Strong interpersonal, technical writing, and multi-disciplinary teamwork skills. Master’s degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; active U.S. government in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP/PAR access. Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00. Northrop Grumman offers a comprehensive benefits package, potential overtime/bonuses, and long-term incentive opportunities depending on role and performance. EEO and Legal
